Short-Term Disability (STD)
ABC Co. provides disability benefits if you become disabled due to illness or accident. STD provides income protection for the first 26 weeks of disability. This plan is administered by Broadspire, and we provide STD at no cost to you. If you have questions about disability, contact Broadspire at 888.555.5555.
Long-Term Disability (LTD)
If your disability lasts more than 26 weeks, you may qualify for LTD benefits. It pays 60 percent of your highest earnings during the two years before LTD. Your benefits are offset by workers’ compensation and Social Security benefits up to age 65. LTD is administered by MetLife. Broadspire will automatically transition claims to MetLife for review.
